Take time to feel your emotions

Remember why you broke up in the first place
Many people find the process of moving on harder when they reminisce about the past. Thinking about the good memories they had with their ex-partner can make it harder to let go and fully move on. It is ok to acknowledge you had a good time with that person but remember you are both in a different place due to circumstances.
Spend time with the people you love and care about

Create a new routine and indulge yourself in your hobbies

This is why it is highly encouraged to create a new routine that is focused on personal goals and passions including hobbies. Take time to do the things that make you happy and feel good such as hobbies and passions you might have. If you do not have hobbies this time would be a good time to try out new hobbies. For example, if you’ve always wanted to learn to dance book a dance class.
Keep in mind that time heals
At times you might feel like you are not making any progress. You might feel like your thoughts always end up leading back to them and that ok it’s all part of the process. All that matters is that you are gentle on yourself this person was a meaningful person in your life for probably a good amount of time. It’s only normal that you feel this way. All you have to do is take it one day at a time.
